Description As cars become more expensive, and roads more congested, raiil travel is enjoying a return to popularity. The trains may sometimes be crowded, and occasionally late, but even this beats the misery of sitting in lengthy traffic jams. If you're a young person, a family, or over 60 you can save a 1/3 of your fair with a Rail Card. There are several types of card:
Young Persons Railcard available if you're aged between 16 and 25, or 26+ in full time education.Senior Railcard for the over 60s.Family Railcard up to 4 adults and 4 children aged 5-15 can travel on the one Family Railcard, and they don't have to be related.Network Railcard for leisure travel in South East England.Disabled Persons Railcard for disabled people.All railcards cost £20, except the disabled persons railcard, which costs £18;.
