Julian McMahon

Julian McMahon is part of a famous family - his father, the late Sir William McMahon, was Prime Minister of Australia. As an 18 year old, he went to Sydney University to study law, but quit to become a model finding a successful niche in TV adverts.

Thanks to a raunchy TV campaign for Levi jeans, in which Julian played a very hot army guy, he quickly became a recognized face to the Australian public. Acting parts in TV followed, notably in everyone's favorite Aussie TV soap, Home and Away.

In 1992 Julian decided upon trying to break into Hollywood, and began auditioning for American TV parts. After several smaller roles, Julian broke bigtime into America when he landed the part of the demonic Cole Turner in the hit TV series, Charmed (2000-2005). Next came the lead role in the mega-hit TV series, Nip/Tuck (2003-2006), in which Julian consistently turns in a brilliant perfomance as the egotistical and callous Dr Christian Troy.

Starring movie roles have followed, including a part as Victor Von Doom in the popular Fantastic Four.

Julian is almost famous for having been married to Danni Minogue, back in his Home and Away days. The marriage only lasted just over a year though.
