Born on Jan 13 1977 in Canterbury, England, Orlando dreamt from an early age of becoming an actor. His first major film role was playing Legolas in the Lord of the Rings, and he has gone on to major parts in Black Hawk Down, Ned Kelly, Pirates of the Caribbean, Troy and Kingdom of Heaven. Orlando loves action sports, such as skydiving and bunjee jumping - possibly because he himself had a close brush with death, falling 3 floors from a friend's sun terrace.
