Emmanuelle Chriqui

Bio  Emmanuelle was born in Montreal, Quebec, to parents of Jewish Moroccan origins. When Emmanuelle was aged two, she and her family moved to Toronto. So brought up hearing both the French and English languages, Emmanuelle is bi-lingual. At the age of seven Emmanuelle caught the acting bug, and persuaded her elder brother to pay for some acting classes. Her first ever TV appearance, when just 10 years old, was in a McDonald's commercial, letting a cheeseburger dance on her shirt.

In the mid 1990s, after graduating from Unionville High School, Emmanuelle moved to the TV capital of Canada, Vancouver, to hunt for TV work. She started with some guest appearances on shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Forever Knight, then in 1999, she landed a supporting role in the comedy Detroit Rock City. Her next big break was a star turn in the 2003 horror film, Wrong Turn, running with Eliza Dushku from a particularly gruesome bunch of cannibal hillbillies.

In 2005 Emmanuelle landed her most popular role to date, that of Sloan in the hit TV series Entourage. (If the show proves anything, it's that being in a movie star's team is one way to date a woman way out of your league - witness Turtle!) Between working on episodes of Entourage, Emmanuelle continued to develop her film career by taking supporting roles alongside Usher in In the Mix and Ryan Reynolds in the funny restaurant comedy, Waiting..., which proved at success at the box office.

Emmanuelle's next movie appearances included playing an injured stripper with the name Tasty D. Lite in Saint John of Las Vegas, and joining Mickey Rourke and Jason Statham in the action thriller 13.
