Eva Mendes

Eva, who is Cuban-American, was born in Texas. Her parents moved to Miami, and then a few years later to Los Angeles. After high school, Eva enrolled at California State Northridge to study marketing. One day Eva's neighbor, a photographer, told an acting agent about the pretty and talented girl next-door, and showed the agent some photos. The agent spotted Eva's potential, and persuaded her to change career.

Eva started with several parts in pop videos, then moved onto bit parts in TV shows. Major movie parts followed, including appearances in Training Day and 2 Fast 2 Furious.
