Sienna Miller
Bio Sienna was born in New York City, into a wealthy family – her dad was a well-monied banker, and her mother well-connected in the drama world. When her parents divorced, Sienna and her mom moved to England. Her mom landed the job running a Lee Strasberg program in a drama school in London. Sienna was sent to boarding school, where apparently she was something of a hell-raiser, even managing to win a bet by snogging the gardener. But Sienna took her drama very seriously, appearing in all the productions of the drama club. On leaving boarding school, Sienna returned to New York to enrolled in the American Lee Strasberg drama school, to further develop her acting skills and abilites.
Sienna’s early acting jobs wereall in New York, with significant parts in several well received plays. She also came to the attention of the Select Model agency , who arranged several high profile jobs for the very photogenic actress, with some top fashion brands.
Almost inevitably, Sienna started to appear in some low budget movies, such as South Kensington, and The Ride. Next came roles in popular TV series such as Bedtime, and Keen Eddie.
By now, the big movie agents had begun to take notice of the talented actress, who possessed the killer combination of fabulous looks and super acting.
Bigger movie parts followed. In Alfie, which starred Jude Law in the title role, she played the part of Nikki, one of a string of Alfie’s long suffering girlfriends. Next came Factory Girl , a biopic of Edie Sedgwick – Sienna turned in a very passionate perfomance as Andy Warhol’s discarded muse.
Sienna’s private life has also made the headlines – she broke off her engagement to Jude Law, after the nanny to his 3 children confessed to having an affair with Jude behind her back.
