Four Weddings And A Funeral

Plot

It's the morning of a wedding. Charles, the best man, wakes up late, and has to make a mad dash to the church. He's a charming and debonair Englishman, who is yet to commit to marriage. Charles's close group of friends are at the wedding, a colourful and characterful bunch. His best man speech is completely hilarious, with some funny jokes at the groom's expense. Later on, Charles notices an attractive American woman, Carrie, amongst the guests. It's love at first sight. They get together at a local pub for a night of romance. The next morning Carrie has to leave immediately for a previous engagement.

Will Charles and Carrie's relationship develop any further?

Why in 100 Best?

The movie is much more full of whimsy than substance, but very enjoyable nonetheless.
