Inside Man

A group of workmen, in painters outfits, all-wearing sunglasses, walk into a New York bank. They're a gang of armed robbers, led by the mastermind Dalton Russell. The thiefs take control of the bank. The staff and customers, taken hostage, are forced to wear the same outfits as the robbers to add to the confusion.

Outside the bank, Det. Keith Frazier, for the New York Police Department, takes charge of the situation. The bank's chairman, Arthur Case decides on independent action, and hires the elegant and persuasive Madeline White to broker a deal with the robbers. Arthur Case seems anxious to keep the contents of one particular safety deposit box secret.
