Plot

Graham is driving along the highway, returning to Baton Rouge. In a separate scene Ann is at her therapist talking alternately about garbage piling up, and her husband John. Ann doesn't know it yet, but John is sleeping with Ann's sister, Cynthia.

Later that day, Graham calls at the house of an old college friend, the very same John. Graham stays the night. In the early house, Ann find herself watching the sleeping Graham through his bedroom door.

Ann helps Graham find an apartment. She learns that Graham's passion is videotaping women talking about sex. During a telephone conversation between the two sisters, Ann tells Cynthia about Graham's predelicition.

Graham and Cynthia soon meet, and Cynthia agrees to be videotaped. This is the first tear in the fabric of relationships.
