The Sound Of Music
Plot The Nazis are on the rise to power in Germany and Austria. Maria, a novice at a nunnery, is sent to be the governess of seven children. Their widower father, Captain Georg Ritter von Trapp, is a naval commander.
To begin with, the children are sullen and unfriendly towards their new governess. But Maria enchants the youngsters with her beautiful singing. Soon the youngsters are enthusiastically joining in. As the children grow to love Maria, their father grows to love her too. But the Captain's future becomes uncertain when the Nazis win power.
