Description
Verbier is a beautiful resort, set on a sunny plateau high above the valleys. There's a traditional mountain atmosphere unspoilt by insensitive building. It's very chic and fashionable, with designer shops, lots of restaurants, lively bars, and fab nightclubs. Télépheriques run from the town all the way up to the Fort glacier. The skiing is best for intermediate and advanced skiers, with some superb off-piste. Boarders who just want to hang will love the super SunRise park.
Why in 100 Best?
Off-pisters will love Verbier, but nightowls will love Verbier even more, with its great nightlife scene.
