Description
An attractive and well-planned resort based on the two centres of Blackcomb and Whistler (about 10mins walk from each other). Both have a pedestrianised centre, with pleasant streets and squares. Whistler has a well-deserved reputation for brilliant skiing. There's plenty to suit every standard. Everything from long, easy runs for beginners, to the steeps and deeps of the legendary powder bowls, challenging even to the best. Apres-ski's pretty good too, with a huge choice of great restaurants, and bars. |

Why in 100 Best? A huge variety of fantastic skiing, amongst the absolutely breathtaking scenery of the coastal mountains of Canada. Though the weather is very unpredictable, with sunny skies unlikely to last.
